Technical data VSETT 10+ Swiss Edition

1. Motor & Performance

The VSETT 10+ Swiss Edition has two electric motors, each with 250 watts of power.

In DUAL mode , both motors are used at the same time. This distributes the driving force to the front and rear wheels, and the scooter offers strong performance, especially when accelerating and on inclines.

In SINGLE mode only one motor is used. This can save energy, especially on longer distances.

In addition, there is a SPORT buttonon the handlebars, which can be used to activate the corresponding riding function.

Open version

In addition to the Swiss Edition, there is an open version of the VSETT 10+ with:

2 × 1,400 watts motor power
Up to 2,800 watts total power
Top speed up to approx. 80–85 km/h

This open-top version does not have Swiss road approval and may therefore not be used on public roads.

Range & Battery

One of the great strengths of the VSETT 10+ is its powerful lithium-ion battery.

Depending on the battery variant, rider weight, riding mode, speed, temperature, gradients and terrain, very long ranges of over 100 km are possible under optimal conditions.

The effective range can vary accordingly in daily use.

Two charging ports

The VSETT 10+ has two charging sockets.

With a charger, a full charge can take up to about 14 hours , depending on the battery variant.

If two compatible chargers are used at the same time, the charging time can be significantly reduced.

3. Hybrid Full Suspension

The VSETT 10+ has high-quality suspension on the front and rear wheels.

The system combines springs with hydraulic shock absorbers and thus ensures a high level of driving comfort even on uneven roads.

The robust shock absorption and ergonomically shaped handlebars make the VSETT 10+ particularly interesting for longer rides.

4. Hydraulic disc brakes

The necessary braking power is provided by hydraulic 140 mm disc brakes.

Hydraulic brakes offer more precise metering than simple mechanical systems and provide reliable deceleration.

Especially with a large and heavy e-scooter like the VSETT 10+, a powerful brake system is particularly important.

5. 10-inch semi-off-road tires

The large 10-inch semi-off-road tires offer a good compromise between riding comfort on asphalt and additional grip on poorer surfaces.

In combination with the full suspension, they provide a stable and comfortable driving experience.

6. LCD-Display & RFID

The VSETT 10+ has a large, illuminated LCD displaythat clearly displays the most important riding information.

In addition, the scooter has a RFID security system.

To activate the vehicle, one of the included RFID keys is used.

3 RFID keys are included.

Lighting & Turn Signals

For better visibility, the VSETT 10+ features:

LED lighting at the front
LED lighting at the rear
Integrated turn signals
Operation of the turn signals directly via the handlebars

This means that the VSETT 10+ offers extensive equipment for daily use.

Instruction manual

Setting up the scooter

The VSETT 10+ is delivered largely assembled, so that only minimal preparations are necessary.

The scope of delivery includes, among other things:

Charger
Tool Set
3 RFID keys
Reflective stickers
Instruction manual

Before the first trip, the battery should be fully charged and the vehicle should be checked according to the operating instructions.

The battery should not be charged at temperatures below 5 °C or above 40 °C.

Scooter start

To turn it on, press and hold the power button and then activate the vehicle with the RFID key .

Depending on the desired use, SINGLE and DUAL modes can be switched.

In DUAL mode, both motors are used, in SINGLE mode only one motor.

In addition, the SPORT function is available.

Maintenance & Care

Proper battery care

Proper treatment of the lithium-ion battery can significantly extend its lifespan.

We recommend:

Do not store the battery completely discharged for a long time
For prolonged storage, select a medium charge level of approximately 50-60%
Store scooters in a dry place
Storage at temperatures above 5 °C
Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C
Disconnect the charger from the vehicle after charging is complete
Do not leave the battery unattended while charging
Do not charge in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials

General maintenance

A powerful e-scooter is exposed to vibrations and stresses while driving. Therefore, the vehicle should be checked regularly.

In particular, we recommend:

Check screws and fasteners regularly
Check the brake system
Check tyres for damage
Check tyre pressure regularly
Check the folding mechanism
Check lights and turn signals
In case of unusual noises or play, have the vehicle checked

Cleaning

For cleaning, we recommend using a slightly damp sponge or a soft cloth.

The scooter should not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or a direct water jet.

Electronic components, charging ports and display should be protected from moisture.

Road approval in Switzerland

The VSETT 10+ Swiss Edition has been specially configured for use on Swiss roads.

It has 2 × 250 watt motors and the corresponding equipment of the Swiss version.

The more powerful open-top version with 2 × 1,400 watts, on the other hand, is not approved for public road traffic in Switzerland.

VSETT 10+

The Vsett 10+ electric scooter stands out for its eye-catching yellow and black color, a modern and sporty design frame made of a very strong aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry. The innovative solid folding mechanism is fast, comfortable and, above all, safe thanks to its safety lock. The entire structure is carefully balanced to ensure stability even at higher speeds, which can reach up to 85 km/h in SPORT mode. For less experienced riders, there is the option of limiting the maximum speed by turning off the front engine, thus halving the scooter's power.

But the extreme performance also includes a high-quality brake system , which this scooter already has as standard. Fully hydraulic and disc brakes that have been tried and tested for years can brake effectively from higher speeds with minimal effort on the brake lever. In combination with electric ABS with automatic shut-off function.

The high-quality and solid construction of the entire scooter allows for a total load capacity of up to 130 kg. The scooter also has the option of activating a function, the so-called "kick-start", which prevents an unwanted start from the spot. Vsett 10+ comes with the IP44 certificate , so you don't have to worry about bad weather and dirt on your clothes. As a bonus, there is an easy-care anti-slip mat on the footboard, which prevents the rider from slipping in bad weather or extreme situations.

The Vsett 10+ e-scooter is equipped with powerful LED lights . With taillights, flashing brake lights and integrated turn signals, as well as a electric horn , the driver can drive safely not only during the day, but also in limited visibility. Feel confident with the robust, patented triple locking mechanism for the folding hex shank.

Curved, foldable handlebar

Usually, collapsible handlebars are straight. On the VSETT 10+, the handlebars are curved, which makes the riding experience more comfortable. It is extremely stable and works like a smart handlebar with a fixed frame.

The dashboard contains an LCD display, a voltage indicator, brakes and a key card switch. To ensure maximum safety for you and all other road users, the left side of the dashboard is equipped with controls for turn signals, an electric horn and lights.

Shockproof and weatherproof: turn signal grips

VSETT grips are the first e-scooter grips with built-in turn signal buttons. A button under the driver's thumb turns on the flashing lights. This allows the driver to signal a lane change while still holding on to the handlebars, and the flashing lights switch off automatically after a few seconds.

Improved, included QSS4 display

Latest NFC throttle system with independent voltage indicator. The QS-S4 has a large, backlit acrylic-coated LCD display, three buttons (mode and power) and a throttle.

The display shows all important data such as speed, current gear, daily mileage (TRIP), total mileage (ODO) and current battery charge level. Thanks to the high brightness, the display is readable even in adverse weather conditions.

NFC Card Key

The entire VSETT line features an innovative, revolutionary NFC card key security system (Near Field Communication). This means that you can activate the scooter via a chip in the form of a keychain, a mobile phone or a watch with NFC support.

Flip switch

Say goodbye to wobbly handlebars with the new high-security triple-locking foldable stem. A new and improved folding mechanism is both safe and convenient with its easy-to-use fail-safe latch. The entire bar up to the footboard is solid, heavy and sturdy, with no rattles, squeaks or creaks, resulting in a really stable ride.

Flippable links

When fully unfolded and engaged, the handlebars are solid and you won't notice any wobble.

After expanding, use an additional screw mechanism to hold it firmly in place.

Flip switch

The locking mechanism is very secure with 3 locks to prevent accidental folding.

2 minutes of electric nitro

To get the most out of the front and rear electric motors, you can use the DUAL MODE by pressing the DDM button on the left side. If you want to experience the special electric nitro SPORT MODE and the maximum of this scooter, start the SPORT mode by pressing the SPORT button, where VSETT 10+ pushes all the peak power into the engines.
Sport mode will then last for two minutes and then automatically switch to Normal.

Sport mode is invalid unless the speed limiter is removed.

Electric horn

Instead of sticking a bell on the scooter, VSETT even goes one step further. VSETT has installed an electric horn for all trips in the city, where a horn is almost a necessity.

It is loud enough to be heard through a closed car window.

2800 W Dual-Motor

The highlight of this e-scooter is the two 1400W motors that can accelerate the e-scooter to an incredible 85 km/h. This motor can propel the e-scooter on all types of terrain and delivers enough torque to overcome 35% slopes without losing power.

Brushless motors: Carbon-free

Engines made of carbon generate heat and hinder the engine. In addition, over time, the brushes can wear out due to friction and cause tension disturbances, which can be quite dangerous.

Deck screws

The new 2022 models come with new deck screws, so you can open the deck as many times as you want without destroying the screws.

Silicone mat with grip

Feel safe, even if you're wearing the muddiest shoes.

Ground clearance

The deck design of the VSET 10+ is 86.5 cm long and 21.6 cm wide with 18 cm ground clearance. The surface of the footboard is made of a durable, pliable, textured rubber that blends into the framework of the board.

60 V Battery

The Vsett 10+ e-scooter is powered by one of the most efficient e-scooters around – an incredibly powerful 60V battery with high-quality LG cells. The powerful battery offers an impressive range.

The 20 Ah battery has a range of 130 km, while the 25.6 Ah battery can travel around 160 km and the 28 Ah battery over 180 km on a single charge in single and eco mode .

Intelligent Temperature Control Management System

Creatively developed temperature protection program in the controller. It offers 2 levels of protection. When the controller detects overheating, the power supply is automatically switched off for 30 seconds in the first stage. If the scooter continues to overheat, the second stage is open for 3 minutes.

LED bulbs

With the high-visibility LED lighting on the front, sides and rear, you can feel safe and alert when riding in the darkest environment.

e-ABS: Anti-lock Bracking System

All electric vehicles create tire locks when braking suddenly, which leads to tire sliding, sudden stops, and loss of control, causing the driver to fall and be injured. To solve the problem of locking the wheels during emergency braking, the ABS provides a series of intermittent braking signals to prevent the tires from locking and effectively stop the e-scooter over a short distance.

Adjustable hybrid suspension

A modern type of suspension, a combination of spring and hydraulic shock absorbers that allow riding on any terrain. The combination of the two suspension systems makes riding stable and comfortable.

Wide and long design

The e-scooter's footboard is wide and long, so you have a large area where you can put your feet and maintain a stable posture.

2 charging ports for faster charging

VSETT comes with two charging ports that allow charging from two different sources at the same time. If you want to charge your batteries faster, you can use 2 power connectors and reduce the time by 50%.

The battery takes quite a long time to fully charge. For example, with a 2A charger, you have to wait 14 hours for the battery to fully charge, while two 2A chargers significantly reduce the charging time to 7 hours.

35 % gradients

With this power, climbing a 35° hill with such brutal and raw force will no longer be a problem.

10 x 3 inches: Wide city tires

VSETT 10+ has large and thick 10 x 3 inch tires with air tubes. Comfortable and stable ride for any type of terrain: asphalt, dirty paths, country roads and more.

Portability

Despite the versatility of the e-scooter, the weight can be limited to some riders around 39 kg, so you probably won't like climbing stairs. Carrying a scooter over a short distance doesn't require much effort, but you certainly don't want to drag it to the upper floor of the house without an elevator.
