CHARGER 2/3 A -SUPER73
Battery Charger 54.6V 2/3A | SUPER73
BIKE COMPATIBILITY
One of the most remarkable features of our bicycles is that the batteries are removable. This feature makes charging convenient and easy: you simply need to take the battery to a power outlet.
Charge: All SUPER73 bicycles are equipped with lithium-ion batteries. To maximize battery life, it is recommended not to fully charge or discharge them.
We recommend recharging the battery as soon as it drops below 50% and before it reaches 10%. Regularly discharging it to 0% leads to premature wear. Charging to 100% won't damage the battery, but it's important to disconnect it from the charger as soon as it's fully charged. This prevents premature wear of the battery cells. Disconnect the battery as soon as the charging indicator on the charger turns green.
As a general rule, never leave the battery on the charger for extended periods, especially when you are not at home. It is not recommended to charge the battery overnight or leave it connected to the charger for more than 24 hours.
First charging cycles: When charging the battery for the first time, specific steps should be followed to ensure it reaches its full potential. Since all SUPER73 e-bikes use lithium-ion batteries, the initial charging process is the same for every model. Leave the battery on the charger for six to eight hours during the first charge to properly condition the lithium-ion cells. After that, the battery can easily be partially charged, so quick top-ups are also no problem.
A NOTICE: The battery must be switched on to charge. During charging, the charging indicator glows red, and once the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns green. Disconnect the battery as soon as the indicator is green and avoid leaving it connected for longer than necessary.
Battery life and maintenance: As with any modern technology, the battery will function optimally and have a long lifespan if it is handled carefully. Good charging, storage, and handling practices will extend the life of your battery.
Dos and Don'ts:
- Charge the battery after every ride to ensure its longevity.
- Charge or use the battery at least every 90 days.
- Charge at room temperature (between 18° and 23°C)
- Do not use or charge the battery at temperatures above 36°C or below freezing. The battery should be charged at an ambient temperature between 4°C and a maximum of 30°C. Never charge the battery outside this temperature range.
- Never use a damaged battery, a battery that has been immersed in liquid, or charge a battery for more than 24 hours.
- Do not store the battery in a fully discharged state for more than 24 hours and do not expose it to extreme heat, direct sunlight or electrical shocks.
- Recycle the battery properly at authorized providers to comply with regulations for handling lithium-ion batteries.
By following these simple steps, you can enjoy your SUPER73 e-bike for years to come.
